Justification and the Courtroom of Heaven
Justification is more than just a theological concept. Justification is a Legal Verdict which occurs in the Courtroom of Heaven
When a believer receives Jesus as Lord and Savior, A court session is called in heaven. Evidence is presented regarding the believer's saving faith in what Jesus did for them. The law of God is consulted which states that there is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood. Then the testimony of the blood of Jesus is presented to the court. As a result of this compelling testimony, the believer is declared not guilty, actually innocent, and righteous in the sight of God.
The court rules that the believer has fully complied with God's law because Jesus has satisfied all of the requirements of God's law, and God has accepted the payment of the penalty for the believer's sins. The believer is determined to be no longer subject to the wrath of God or the judgment of God. When God the Father sees the believer, He sees His Son.
The believer is declared to have all the rights, authority, and privileges of a child of God, and all of the same rights and privileges in God's Kingdom as Jesus himself, due to their legal status as joint heirs of the Father.
Joint heirs have the same legal rights to possess inherited property as every other joint heir. Jesus said all authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to me. Consequently, the property that we have inherited includes the earth (haaretz) and the heavens (shamayim). This includes every layer of our atmosphere, all of outer space, and all other dimensions beyond that, including heaven itself.
Justification is a naturalization process. It is a process whereby people who were once slaves under a dictatorship ruled by the Kingdom of Darkness---can now become Citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, where we have freedom to be who we always were meant to be. We have the opportunity to create kingdom of heaven businesses and complete kingdom of heaven assignments. We also have the opportunity to exercise government authority in the Kingdom of Heaven as we participate in the expansion of the government of King Jesus, which shall have no end.
Furthermore, the Bible says that during the process of justification, we are seated in heavenly places. This means that our spirits are given a place in the courtroom of heaven where we can talk to Jesus and consult him as our attorney to represent us before the courtroom of heaven. We have authority to testify before the court on behalf of any lawsuit that we are pursuing against the kingdom of darkness for its illegal acts against us in violation of God’s law.
Being seated in heavenly places means we also have the right to engage in kingdom of heaven government functions. This means that God’s ear is open to our opinions about what God should do on this earth and in the heavens. Like Moses and Abraham, we can intercede with God to show mercy rather than judgment on a specific person, place, or thing. On the other hand, we can cry out to God for judgment upon the Kingdom of Darkness, and the Bible says that God will speedily give justice to his elect.
God will also show believers his plans for the future through dreams, visions, and prophetic encounters, so that we can partner him in making decisions about what the Kingdom of Heaven will do.
