Fighting the Kingdom of Darkness

There is a big misnomer that spiritual warfare is only for very strong, very spiritual Christians. However, that lie could not be further from the truth. The Kingdom of Darkness is waging a constant war on believers. Whether we like it or not, the enemy will try to attack God's people in any way he can. However, we can seek God for wisdom and revelation on how to fight back. A good offense is often the best defense. The more damage we do to the Kingdom of Darkness, the more afraid it will be to attack us.

There is an old Latin sayin which says volunt pax, para bellum. It means, if you want peace, prepare for war. A nation or Kingdom that is well prepared for battle makes a discouraging target for the enemy.

An ill equipped, poorly prepared, and disarmed populace makes an easy target for an enemy invasion.

So it is in the spirit realm. It is important that we are equipping the next generation with every spiritual weapon that God gave us to wage war on the enemy. We should not leave them disarmed with any weapon that the Bible says God gave to us for our warfare against the enemy.

In videogames, when you are going to fight the boss, you do not come to the fight ill prepared. You find every strong weapon you can within the game and you bring it to the battle.

This is how it works when we are fighting principalities and powers operating against us. We need to unleash every weapon that we have from a spiritual standpoint to attack and invade the territory occupied by hell.
